DSE’s Changshu plant was recently opened after the acquisition and expansion of the plant operated by Huawei Taiwan ina bid to secure a solid production base in China.

The Changshu plant will supply CCL(copper clad laminate), which is widely used as a component in electronic appliances such as mobile phones, tablet PCs, and LED TVs, to a number of major global electronic companies including Samsung, LG, Apple and Sharp.

The CCL market in China is expected to grow to as much as US$6.8billion by 2016. Doosan Corporation Electro-Materials has set itself the goal of increasing its sales in China from last year’s KRW94.9billion to KRW540 billion won by 2016 with the establishment of the Changshu plant.
